Preparation & Cleanup

Apply Pressure

   

  • Wipe down surfaces prior to sticking & clean scissors with rubbing alcohol or paint thinner.
  • Remove household cleaners from surface with rubbing alcohol.

  

  • Firmly press adhesive strip onto surface by rubbing finger over liner.
  • Remove liner and firmly press the two surfaces together trying to get contact along the entire surface area.

Removing UGlu

Cutting Tips

     

  • Pry surfaces apart with a putty knife. Twisting sometimes releases hold.
  • Grab an edge of the adhesive and "slowly" pull away.
  • Using a small ball of UGlu helps to get a point to pull from.
  • Peel back slowly to avoid ripping surface.

* UGlu is an industrial strength adhesive and may cause damage when removed.


  

  • Use clean, sharp scissors.
  • Apply a thin coat of baby or vegetable oil to scissors prior to cutting.
  • UGlu can be put in refrigerator or freezer to make it more solid to cut.
  • For self wound roll, use a small piece of the liner to avoid adhesive touching scissors.
